This topic is returning to my site, because the interaction between men and women today has become a source of conflict and instability in Western Society, with few signs of things improving.
Gender: Difference in the mind.
A person's sex is defined by their reproductive organs, but gender is in the mind. The politically correct narrative pretends the latter would be a social construct, and alleges oppression of women and privilege for men, but science says otherwise. The following video explains profound psychological differences between men and women based on differences in the brain that result in a gendered difference in ambitions and individual choice.
Significant are woman's tendencies to network and enlist support, thru emotional appeal, while men tend to take risks and are more competitive. Women respond emotionally and men respond physically when under threat: We evolved to have complementary, priorities that aimed to promote survival of our species, not to advantage the individual.
Men and women have different strengths and different preferences and so gender disparity is a result of choice. A graphic intended to introduce humanity to as yet unidentified alien life forms, shows the male confronting the potential threat and the female looking to him for protection, or do you really believe it's sexism at work?
Feminism has been inculcating generations with a strident female victim narrative, while shaming and denigrating male people for their traditional roles. On the one hand they complain about being treated differently, but on the other they demand it!
In response, the men's rights movement tried to redress imbalance of an emerging systemic sexist bias. Alas even when feminist Cassie Jaye created an objective investigation of the men's rights movement she was demonized for failing to endorse feminist preconceptions of MRA "misogyny". Eventually MGTOW simply turned their back on male/female relationships in disgust.
A recurring theme remains that women influence dominant alpha-male leaders to support a gynocentric gender bias. Here for instance, president Trump thanks his daughter for promoting female entrepreneurship in India, without considering whether such
affirmative action is justifiable, equitable, or desirable.
Even in the sciences, men seize the opportunity to virtue signal on behalf of women, but assuming we do identify sexist prejudice in STEM fields, then rather than combat the symptom with reverse sexism, it might be more productive to first identify where it comes from?
Ultimately we must ask ourselves, if it is appropriate for NGO's like Amnesty International to be advocating for a Wikipedia Takeover with a feminist agenda.
It reminds me of this meme about gynocentrism that I made once from a photo found on the internet. This issue is pivotal to the gender equality narrative.
